Every business, whether big or small, seeks for ways it can increase it product sales in order to increase revenues. One way businesses encourage consumers to buy their products is by offering a price reduction on their products. Most consumers cannot resist a “Sales” sign and others have been known to make impulse purchases just because a product was on sale. However, for consumers to be able to buy a product, they have to be able to spot a price tag label on a product from a distance. You may offer your consumers great discounted prices on items, but if they cannot spot these tags fast, chances are high that consumers will walk by your product unaware that there is a sale happening. So how do you create fun price tag labels to promote business sales?

Use Bold Colors

Bold colors can be spotted from a distance and they can be used in a price tag label to attract consumers’ attention. For a price tag to be easily noticed, you need to place on a product on a location with fewer obstructions. Print your labels on colored label materials in order to make them stand out. As a small business owner, you can print your own price tag labels using sheet labels. Sheet labels are available in multiple colors. Choose bold colors like red or green among others, and print large price tags.

Include Illustrations

Most price tags are printed on normal white paper and usually they are just bland. To attract consumers to your product, go an extra mile and include illustrations on your price tag label designs to make them more appealing. You can include your logo or simple illustrations that relate to your product to attract consumers’ attention. Consumers walking down the aisle will be curious enough to want to check out your product and what it’s all about. If they find the price on the tags is affordable, they may just decide to buy your product.

Use Interesting Font

Price tags often indicate the name of an item and the price of the item. Most retail shops use normal fonts on their tags which are not usually captivating. Instead of flowing with the masses, use special fonts on your price tags to make them stand out more. For example, if you are selling items meant for the younger generation of consumers, you can use comic sans font. It is laid back, fun and youngsters can easily identify with this font. Bold the font so that it becomes clearer.

Use Label Material That are Glossy

Instead of using normal paper to print your price tags, use other materials that have a visual appeal. For example, the glossy white paper or foil papers are more visually appealing and they are able to attract consumers’ attention from a distance. These types of label materials are affordable and they are available in sheet form to allow small scale printing.

In order to cut down on label printing costs, invest in a digital label printer. A digital label printer will allow you to print your own custom price tags whenever you need to and as a many as you like.
